Aromas of strawberry, black cherry and sandalwood spice with just a subtle hint of toasty, new French oak.  At first sip you're greeted with ripe red fruits, creamy acids and that classic Mendocino mineral component.

"Zesty aromas of fresh crushed cherries, red licorice and oak spice. On the palate, flavors of red currant, vanilla and coconut. The ageing in small French coopered barrels harmonizes the fruit with a touch of sweet oak character, delivering a medium- bodied, yet delicate wine that is perfectly balanced."
