Hendry HRW Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml

All of the grapes for the HRW series wines come from our 114-acre Napa Valley vineyard. The average production in our Cabernet blocks is between 1.5 and 2.5 tons per acre. The grapes we use for the HRW are from lots that have a little less complexity and concentration than our Hendry label, yet still represent a very good value. HRW stands for Hendry Ranch Winery, as these used to be our “ranch” wines for informal occasions. Ruby color. Aromas and flavors of dark berries, bay leaves, pepper and cocoa. Medium-bodied, with balancing, fine-textured tannins. Well-structured and balanced, this is a slightly lighter take on Cabernet than our Hendry label. Still plenty of body and structure for daily drinking with grilled meats, lamb shanks, or burgers and fries. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon.
