  • Fermented 2–3 days
  • Distilled in a 25-foot copper continuous still
  • Aged at least 4 years in heavy char, 53-gallon barrels
  • Sakura blossom, butterscotch, toasted almond, and clover honey on the nose; a rich and chewy palate exudes brown sugar, clove, orange peel, cinnamon, and amaretto with a touch of grilled peaches, star anise, and brown butter-baked applesThis liqueur is made by soaking black currants in neutral spirit, then sweetening to taste.
