Made by the third generation Colosi family in Sicily, this is made of the native Sicilian grape, Catarratto, blended with the classic Italian grape, Pinot Grigio. With 24 acres of vineyards in Salina, a small island in the Eolian Archipelago, Colosi’s volcanic soils are ideal for grape growing. Look for ripe lemon, lychee, peach, apricot and pineapple aromas and flavors. Serve with lemony seafood and fresh goat and sheep's milk cheeses in particular. Winemaker Pietro Colosi works with his father Piero to honor the family and continue the Sicilian traditions of winemaking.
